Ashley Reeves - Professional Piercer - Tallahassee, FL

Ashley (she/her) moved to Tallahassee from Central Florida in 2009. Since then, the city has become her home & its people her friends, neighbors, and colleagues.

One of Ashley's earliest Tallahassee memories is having her septum pierced by Bink. She was surprised by the painlessness of the procedure, and how at-ease the studio made her feel. It made such a good impression that she became a loyal client that day. When she heard Body Piercing by Bink was hiring years later, she jumped at the chance to apply. Ashley is proud and honored to be part of the crew here at one of her favorite local businesses. She can't imagine a better job with better clients!

She hopes to continue learning and growing in her role as a professional piercer, and upholding the standards of quality and professionalism that the shop has long offered Tallahassee. In the years since she began piercing, she has sought out further education. This includes an Applied Jewelry Professional diploma from the Association of Professional Piercers, the Gemological Institute of America, and the professional piercer community.

When she isn't piercing, Ashley loves exploring the natural wonders of North Florida and beyond with her partner and cats, going to independent wrestling shows, and eating any taco you put in front of her.

Marina (they/them) is a Tallahassee native. Like many, as a small child they had first lobe piercings done at a mall kiosk. Unfortunately, bad aftercare instructions and poor quality jewelry resulted in years of discomfort and irritation for the piercings. As a teen, Marina received second lobe piercings by Bink at his very first studio location, and life was forever changed. After high school, Marina became a Body Piercing by Bink regular, getting pierced frequently.

In 2008, Marina was leaving a career as an elementary school teacher and was offered an apprenticeship with Bink. Their responsibilities quickly grew; soon they were managing the studio. Marina became a Business Member of the Association of Professional Piercers in 2009. They started volunteering at the APP Conference & Exposition and soon started volunteering for the organization year-round.

​In 2014, Marina was ready for another change and moved to the mountains of Montana for a summer of hiking and National Parks. When they came back to Tallahassee, Marina worked in the corporate world for a few years, but it didn't feel quite right. In 2016, they officially returned to the piercing industry as the Membership Administrator for the Association of Professional Piercers and a traveling guest piercer. At the beginning of 2019, Marina was invited to rejoin the Body Piercing by Bink family and couldn't be happier to be back where it all started.

Hayley Bush

Gabrielle Inez - Apprentice Piercer & Counter Staff

Hayley (she/her) is a Tallahassee native who, like many others growing up on the internet in the early 2000s, first discovered her fascination with piercing and body modification through the (in)famous BMEzine website.

After getting her first piercing at 16 years old, she pestered her local piercer for nearly two years with every piercing-related question she could think of, and was ultimately offered an apprenticeship and the chance to begin her piercing career in 2011. In the time since then, she’s worked continuously to expand her knowledge by connecting with other piercers and participating in classes, workshops, and webinars offered by other industry professionals, including attending the Annual APP Conference and Camp APP.

In 2018, after working in multiple studios that never quite aligned with the type of service that she wanted to provide, Hayley chose to take a hiatus from body piercing and finish her bachelor's degree in sociology while working as a beer & wine specialist for Whole Foods. Four years later, Hayley was given the opportunity to rejoin the industry and become a part of the Bink staff, and we're so thrilled.

Hayley likes to spend her free time reading sci-fi novels, cooking & baking, and watching horror movies with her cats Garbage & Impa.

Brooke Jordan

Brooke (she/her) is a Tallahassee native. She's been a client at Bink's since age 12 and is so excited to be joining the team as counter staff. After having plenty of receptionist jobs over the years, she's stoked to be working in an industry she's passionate about.

Brooke is looking forward to learning more about gems, body jewelry, and the history of body piercing and other body modifications. As a child, she once saw a waitress whose ears were adorned with rings all the way down and has been captivated by piercings ever since. She loves to explore the reasons people feel drawn to body modifications, and is always down to swap 'origin stories' with clients.

 Brooke enjoys rollerskating, screen printing, and zine-making.

Cindy Louzado

Originally from Miami, Cindy (she/her) has spent the last few years enjoying her time here in Tallahassee pursing her psychology degree and is now happy to call Tallahassee home.

Piercings and jewelry were always something Cindy was interested in and during her time in Tally, she got her daith pierced at our shop and loved the experience so much she knew she wanted to work here! She loves talking through jewelry options and making sure clients are as comfortable as can be.

On days off from the shop, Cindy can often be spotted with a bowl of soup in one hand and a matcha latte in the other! She enjoys indoor activities like playing video games and drawing whenever she gets the chance as well as spending time with the people she loves.

​Bink Williams

Owner, RN, LCSW, LMT
​​Bink, a Louisana native, opened Body Piercing by Bink in Tallahassee in 1994. He became an Association of Professional Piercers Member in 1996, when the health & safety organization was newly formed. Bink was an active body piercer for over 20 years.

​He is also a Registered Nurse certified in palliative and hospice care. Although he's no longer piercing, Bink maintains a private practice as a licensed massage therapist and licensed clinical social worker. He is a certified Neuromuscular Therapist and member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.

​In his spare time he plays just about every string instrument and loves to garden with his wife, Andrea.
